Are you feeling stuck? Lost? Burnt out? Have you checked all the boxes in life, pushed yourself to achieve and succeed, but still feel empty, insecure, and not yet good enough? Are you exhausted from carrying old wounds and being the strong one who holds it all together for everyone but yourself? Are you feeling like you no longer know who you are or what you want out of life? Are you carrying grief from the loss of a loved one or for your old life, your old identity, your vitality? Are you struggling for meaning and searching for authentic connection?
Seeking help is an act of immense courage. You’ve found my page while looking for support, and I am so glad you are here. You don't have to suffer in silence or bear your burden alone. You don’t have to carry what was never yours. You deserve peace. Counseling can make a lasting difference in your life if you are open and willing to connect, engage, and take the next step.
About me
I am deeply committed to the therapeutic power of connection—a belief that within relationship, we find the safety and support to rediscover our own voice and power.
As a trauma-informed, relational, and person-centered therapist, I offer a calm, compassionate space where your lived experience is met with warmth, authenticity, and clarity without judgment. I specialize in supporting
high achievers with burnout
adults healing from childhood trauma and attachment wounds
adults walking through grief and loss of all kinds, and
helping individuals rebuild their identity after years of unfulfilling relationships, careers, or family dynamics that left them feeling unseen.
Prior to entering the counseling profession, I worked for fourteen years teaching university art, photography, video, performance, and lens-based projects, as well as working as a practicing artist exhibiting my work locally, nationally, and internationally. My years of experience teaching and making art has instilled in me a deep understanding of the vast potential for healing, self-reflection, and personal growth gotten through creative expression. In addition to traditional talk-therapy, I specialize in and can incorporate expressive arts as a powerful and rich counseling intervention for individuals who gravitate toward story-telling and/or visual expression rather than verbal exchanges and words-only. (“PhotoTherapy” is my area of specialty; read more about it HERE) I can also incorporate somatic and movement-based interventions and techniques including breath-work and walk-and talk therapy on private peaceful trails surrounding the grounds of my office.
I am honored to work with and walk alongside individuals as they navigate their own personal journey of insight, growth, healing, and learning to live in alignment with their truest values and self.
